My name is Sandy. I often describe myself as a woman who was "born" in the wrong time period! I think the show / movies, Little House On The Prairie, Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, Etc.. . are some of the places I could be transported to and fit right in:) I also believe the Proverbs 31 woman is someone I can also relate to. She strives to live for God, take care of her family, help others, Etc...

 I have been married to my current husband for over 26 years.

I am the  mother of 5 (I home school my 3 youngest children) and currently I have 2 Grand - children (from my 2 oldest and married girls)

 I was born in Michigan, however, I was raised in Oklahoma. During my husbands time with the Government, we lived in many different places including; Germany, Alaska, Texas, Washington State, and Ca.(Yosemite) We currently reside in Oklahoma.

My desire is to live in this "Modern World", with the wisdom of the past.
How? By going back to our "roots". By learning from God's Word and our Ancestors.
Trading the "American Dream" for the simplicity of living!
